Is BlackBerry working on a clamshell phone?

If the picture below is to be believed, then the next BlackBerry phone to grace our palms will be a clamshell handset.

The new phone pictures have popped up on various sites including BBLeaks. The new phone is expected to run the BlackBerry 6 OS and come with 4GB on onboard storage as well as a 5-megapixel camera and a full physical QWERTY keyboard.

While is look unlikey that the new handset will sport a touchscreen like the Torch on Apple’s iPhone, it should have at least 512MB of memory to run those power-hungry apps.

As to when the phone will reach our shores in anyone’s guess.
