Tom Petty is coming to your living room. Well, if your living room contains a games console with Rock Band on it. Petty’s debut on the music game will see the tracks ‘I Won’t Back Down’ and ‘Runnin’ Down a Dream’ available on the Xbox 360 on August 25 and on the PS3 system on August 27.
The same day will also see the following tracks released by other artists:
* Billy Idol – ‘Mony Mony’ and ‘Rebel Yell’
* Fleetwood Mac – ‘Don’t Stop’ and ‘World Turning’
* Jet – ‘She’s a Genius’
Additional tracks from the Foo Fighters, White Zombie and Grateful Dead will be available in the Wii Rock Band Music Store, and it’s a zombie-friendly week for Rock Band Unplugged, with tracks from The Zombies and White Zombie.
