Bigpoint first hit the 100 million milestone less than 18 months ago, with the company’s hit game Battlestar Galactica Online generating over two million registrations in just three months since then.
It’s little wonder, given that Bigpoint has over 1,000 media partners (including MTV, Myspace, AOL and Mail.ru), allowing it to attract 250,000 new users every day on average.
The company makes 100 per cent of its revenue through in-game sales of digital items and integrates over 180 payment solutions worldwide.
Bigpoint’s browser-based game portfolio includes titles aimed at casual gamers – including the BAFTA nominated Farmerama and ZooMumba – and hardcore gamers with titles such as the visually stunning Battlestar Galactica Online. All games heavily involve social features and are free-to-play through your browser.
