If you don’t want or can’t afford a proper Blackberry (really? How hard up are you?) then LG has its new C300 phone and its got a QWERTY keyboard.
The phone, available from Orange, Phones4U and Tesco, has a 2.4-inch display and sports social networking widgets from Facebook and Twitter. It also features an MSN client (do people still use that?)
It also boasts a 2-megapixel camera, push email, an FM radio receiver and an MP3 player.
It is missing wireless and 3G, which may make some baulk at the £80 price (including a £10 top-up to sweeten the pill.
Paul Trueman, UK marketing director for LG Electronics, said in a statement that “We wanted to make social networking quick and easy for busy people on the go, and the LG C300 Town with integrated SNS widgets and a full QWERTY keyboard does just that.”
For another £20 you could just get yourself a cheap Android phone instead of this phone which does also look a little like an Alcatel OT-802, maybe that’s just us.
