The first Killzone on the PS2 back in 2004 was a bit of a
disappointment, but there’s an agreeable amount of buzz about the PS3
sequel. Now Sony has thrown their weight fully behind the title by
announcing that a Killzone 2 PS3 bundle will be available once the game
hits.
The bare-bones package will offer you an 80 GB console,
a Dual Shock 3 controller and a copy of the game for £299.99 – the same
price an 80 GB console is currently fetching on its own. Not too
shabby, then.
Killzone 2 is currently prepped for a February
27 release date in North America. The European launch day remains a
mystery, but we’d think it’d be close if not the same day.
