Want to wake up to a greener, more energy efficient world? Roberts reckons it has the answer with a couple of new additions to its ecologic clock radio range: the ecologic 5 and ecologic 6.

First up, in addition to its extremely low power consumption, the ecologic 5 DAB/FM RDS digital clock radio offers dual alarm so you can set two different waking times – perfect for letting you lie in while your partner gets up and makes breakfast (or is that just us?).

The large screen displays the time and radio station against a blue backlight that can be dimmed for your preference.

Furthermore, 10 station presets allow you to quickly and easily switch between your favourite radio stations.

Other features include:
* Auxiliary input socket for MP3/iPod playback
* Auto time set
* Menu display/selection of all major functions
* Search/manual tuning
* Adjustable Sleep and Snooze timers
* Headphone socket
* AC adaptor included.

The ecologic 5 digital clock radio is on sale for £69.99.

One step up, the ecologic 6 is a more compact DAB/FM RDS digital clock radio that also offers extremely low power consumption as well as a dual mode dimmer backlight.

“The large analogue clock on the front makes for a more traditional look whilst still including all the modern functions which are controlled by the easy-to-navigate menu,” says Roberts.

An automatic timeset syncs the clock to the correct time and the radio offers 20 station presets and four alarm settings, giving you the flexibility of setting different alarm times on different days and different waking times to your partner. Furthermore, the alarm can be set so that it wakes you to a buzzer, or to DAB or FM radio.

Other features include:
* Search / manual tuning
* Adjustable sleep and snooze timers
* Auxiliary input socket for MP3 / iPod playback
* Headphone socket
* AC adaptor included.

The ecologic 6 digital clock radio is on sale for £79.99.
