Amazon drops price of Wii

If you are thinking about buying a Wii then you may want to go to Amazon. The online retailer has slashed the price of the Nintendo console to just £139.

It is thought that the cut is in preparation for the new Wii bundle that combines the console with Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort and the Motion Plus add-on for just £179.99.

The new bundle replaces the previous option from October 2 in the UK and Ireland. Nintendo has also dropped the trade price of the console allowing shops to make a little extra cash from sales. We expect more prominent positioning of the console in store in time for Christmas.
