Google G1 phone gains virtual keyboard

android_g1_b.jpgIf there is one thing that Google Android G1 phone lacks is a virtual
keyboard, like its rivals iPhone and Blackberry Storm managed to cram
in. But a new update fixes this problem.

The latest "Cupcake" update brings about several new features and
enhancements. As well as the ability to record video there is now a new
virtual on-screen keyboard.

A new virtual keyboard now means that the real slider keyboard underneathseems a bit superfluous.

Below is a demonstration of the new screen keyboard.
