The two companies that make up Everything Everywhere, Orange and T-Mobile, have officially launched their joint network.
This means that subscribers of both networks will be able to roam between the two without incurring charges.
In effect, where a user finds that a weak signal on one network will be able to switch across to the other.
Users will have to opt-in to the service in order to take advantage of the scheme.Orange users can sign up for the service here, and T-mobile subscribers can sign up on this page here.
While there will be messages alerting you that you have crossed over to the other network, you shouldn’t get charged (we hope!)
