While the Nano may have lost its click wheel, the Shuffle has regained its one.

The previous version had ditched the click wheel in favour of voice controls. The new version, unveiled at its “Special Event” at the YBCA Theatre in San Francisco, combines the best aspects of the previous versions.

Also gone is a 4GB version. The new, smaller Shuffle only comes in 2GB varieties but now sports five colour variations and the now familiar clip, which has sprung up on the new Nano as well. Battery life is claimed at around 15 hours.

The Shuffle is yours for £39 and will be shipping next week.
