the_bill_logo.jpgFreesat viewers can now enjoy the drama of ITV’s long-running cop show in sparkly high-definition. From today episodes of The Bill will be shown exclusively in HD on ITV HD.

The first episode shown in HD will be Conviction Cover Up, part of a brand new six-part storyline.

The BAFTA-award winning TV show celebrated its 25th anniversary last year and has seen a number of well-known British stars among its ranks – including Keira Knightley, David Tennant and Emma Bunton.

The Bill is shown on ITV HD on Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 8pm.
