The boys over at What Laptop have been in touch to say they’ve got their hands on one of the first Asus Seeshell netbooks. And by the sounds of it they like it…
“The most amazing thing about the Seashell 1008HA is the design, taking its moniker from the rounded, clamshell like style,” says Phil Barker.
“Measuring just 27mm at its deepest point, and getting considerably thinner towards the front of the chassis, you’ll hardly notice the 1008HA Seashell in your bag, further helped by a weight of just over 1kg.”
He also praises the 10-inch screen with its average resolution of 1,024 x 600 pixels, which he says is “a joy to use” in everything but the brightest conditions.
With a 92 per cent full-sized and a 160GB hard drive as standard, we can’t wait to get our own hands on one.
