Sony Ericsson has unveiled two new handsets: one for musos and one for text monsters. The Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman and Sony Ericsson txt pro both boast a 3.5mm audio jack and a 3-inch touch screen. However, the txt pro offers a full slide-out qwerty keyboard and 3.2-megapixel camera; while the Mix Walkman has a Zappin key to preview the chorus of the next track and a Karaoke function that lowers the vocal track so you can sing along (sure to be popular on the bus, that last one).
The look and feel of the Mix Walkman can also be personalised with different exchangeable colour bands that come with the phone (pink, pink cloud, green, green bird). It weighs 88g and has a form factor of 95.8mm x 52.8mm x 14.3mm.
Meanwhile, the Sony Ericsson txt pro has an integrated friends application that allows users to add their five best friends to see updates from their Facebook and Twitter feeds. It comes in black, white and pink and weighs 100g, with a form factor of 93mm x 52mm x 18mm.
Both phones will be available in selected global markets from July at the earliest.
