The new Workzone Titanium+ 18V LI-ON Drill & Driver Kit is part of its new Workzone Titanium+ range, which promises top quality tools, benchmarked against the best brands, at unbeatable prices.

The drill and driver kit features an 18V cordless impact driver with a torque of approximately 150Nm, a no-load speed of up to 2200rpm, and an impact rate of up to 3000rpm and soft touch housing.

The 18 cordless hammer drill has a torque of approximately 35Nm, two speeds of up to 350rpm and 1250rpm, an impact rate of either up to 5250rpm of 18,750rpm and a variable speed with an electric break.

The drills are benchmarked against the BOSCH 18V GSR 18-2-Li & GDR 18-V-Li twin pack (RRP £289.99, Amazon.co.uk), the set presents comparable quality and comes with detachable belt clips, LED work lights, fan-cooled motors to extend the life of both devices and is housed in a robust carry case. With a three year warranty, DIY enthusiasts and tradesmen alike can be confident these premium products will stand the test of time.

In use, we found both to come really handy under real life conditions. While repairing old floorboards and replacing some with new ones, the drill and driver set came good and helped us make light work of replacing floorboards and other jobs we set out to do.

The set costs £99 and will be available from Aldi from 30 November onwards. But as with the retailer’s Specialbuys offerings, once they’re gone, they’re gone.
