Western_digital_9_5mm_Scorpio_Blue_driveMyService has announced a new 750GB hard drive upgrade for MacBook and MacBook Pro laptops. The procedure installs a new Western Digital 9.5mm Scorpio Blue drive, which is the largest drive available for the MacBook. The upgrade costs $299 and is available to MacBook owners in the United States.

“MyService’s upgrade includes the new drive, round trip shipping, professional installation and data transfer,” a statement from the company said.

“MyService sends a custom laptop shipping container to you. All shipping is insured and can be tracked online.”

Your old hard drive is even returned as aprt of the service and can be used for backups. And since MyService is an Apple Authorised Service Provider, the upgrade doesn’t void your Apple warranty.

All new drives feature a three-year manufacturer warranty.
