World of
Warcraft maker Blizzard has officially been declared the most
bankable game studio in the world, mainly thanks to its ridiculously
popular MMO, which accounts for most of its $1.34 billion annual
revenue.
The list
of the top 100 studios was compiled by Develop magazine, who release
an annual countdown. Last year’s leader, Nintendo, has been
knocked down to second place.

Rockstar’s success, Lego Star Wars boys Traveller’s Tales
hit the 12th spot, LittleBigPlanet devs Media Molecule
were 18th, and Fable fellows Lionhead were in at the 22nd
place.
